Juniper Needle
A pale yellow oil with a fresh, woody balsamic
aroma. Traditionally used as a blood cleanser and the principal
flavouring in gin! In Middle Ages, a juniper bush planted by
the front door was thought to repel witches and in World War 2
the nurses burnt juniper to disinfect the air.
Uses: Abscesses, acne, anxiety, arthritis, boils, cellulitis,
cystitis, eczema, piles, rheumatism, thrush, varicose veins.
Methods: Bath, Massage and Skin Care, Vaporisation.
Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy, use in moderation, not
suitable for young children. Not to be used with any form of
kidney disease.
