Frankincense (5mls)
A pale yellow essential oil with a warm, rich
sweet-balsamic fragrance and a sedating effect on the nervous
system. Helps to calm the mind and is well known as an ingredient
of incense. It was one of the most treasured substances in the
Ancient World. The word frankincense comes from a 10th century
French word meaning 'luxuriant incense'. Helps to calm and slow
breathing.
Uses: Ageing skin, asthma, high blood pressure, insomnia,
nervous tension, scars, stress, stretch marks and wrinkles.
