- Our Fantastic Foot cream also works miracles on aching legs
!
- Try this soothing massage oil for when legs (or feet) are aching,
tired or heavy. Combine 13 drops Spike Lavender,
8 drops Eucalyptus,
7 drops Peppermint,
22 drops Lemon essential
oils with 100ml Sweet Almond Oil. Massage into the legs,
or even better have someone else do it for you !
- Alternatively, try warm (not hot) baths with 8-10 drops of a
circulatory stimulant such as Rosemary
or Juniper.
This can help improve the condition and thus refresh and soothe
the legs. If there is any swelling, apply cold compress soaked
in Witch Hazel lotion.
- For smooth legs, add 8-10 drops Rosemary
or Juniper oil
to 50mls Sweet Almond Oil and apply after bathing.
- To help combat varicose veins keep weight off the feet as much
as possible, take gentle exercise, improve the diet and lose weight.
To make an oil that will both prevent and alleviate varicose veins,
mix 6 drops of Geranium
and 2 drops Cypress
with 1 tablespoon carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil or add
to a non-greasy cream. Using this oil blend, stroke the legs very
gently, working upwards from the ankle to thigh, but do not massage
directly onto the veins themselves.
